Exploring Images in the 21st Century Classroom

What will you take from this visually-enhanced journey?

Which image would represent your learning process during these 6 weeks we've been together?

What's next?

We'd love to have your feedback and impressions here.

I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson plans and efforts involved in creating these. Using Ning, the wiki, and the groups were so educational! I loved seeing images from around the world and meeting a great group of global educators. I have studied the information weekly and will apply what I have learned into visual literacy benchmarks. I have tested and enjoyed several new web2.0 toos, specifically slide share and photo peach, as well as various groups within flickr. The creators of this online course are to be commended. Applause!!! Iowa says hello, and I leave you with this thought...Experience is the best teacher. We learn from the bumps along the way!

Lunch at IKEA

This session was like a feast. The moderators were great, the activities unusual and creative.

I have really enjoyed doing the tasks. They were inspirational in so many ways. I will certainly use images more in my classes. An image lends an element of surprise to what you are doing. You start with a picture and you never know where it will take you. It is because the picture has its own story to tell.

The photo that I've chosen the best reflects my feelings. That was a long journey together with different people , from different countries. The boy on the photo is very emotional as I was during these 6 weeks, it was difficult to organize myself, but still I was trying to do the best. Many times I cried because I couldn't fulfil my assignment. Thanks to the "Helping Desk", thanks everybody, who was next to me and whose helping hand I was feeling all the time.

Dear Olga,

You´ve done a superb job! Of course there are bumps along the way, but the best part is that you got there, you´ve accomplished and shared so much. Thank YOU for being here with us.
