I have an email with a post by Gilmar Mattos, with a link to the help desk, but I don't see his post, so here's the copy and paste from my mail: "A message from Gilmar Mattos to all members of Help Desk on Images4Education!
Hi guys...
Can anybody teach me how to insert a "Wordle" into a NIng Page and/or blog. I've tried but no success. With the Blog I got a small image that must be clicked so I go to the wordle page. With the Ning I only get that code that we embed and again one has to click on it to go to wordle. I'd like to have it on the main page the way it shows at the wordle page. Hope I could explain my problem clearly enough. Thank you all."

The only way I know to save a Wordle is to take a screen shot, and then treat it as an image. You can also print it as a pdf, but then there isn't the versatility of just inserting an image on a ning, blog, etc.

@Barbara If you join our http://flickr.com/groups/images4education/then you'll be able to send any of your photos to our group. Try it and see if it works. If you still have questions, just send me a message and I'll help you.

@Holly I think it's a bug and I'll report it to Ning. It has happened to me, as well. Please, just bear with us! I know it can be annoying, but I think that the benefits of being here outreach its little glitches.

OK, so it's very late in the game, here, but I keep finding my replies in the wrong places? I have been assuming that one clicks on the "reply to this" just BELOW the posts (the one within the two lines that seem to separate posts). But often (not always, to my consternation!) my reply posts seem to go to a post subsequent to the one I intended.
Is this a glitch that sometimes happens, or is the 'glitch' named Holly and can you tell her what to do differently? [most recent example was my reply yesterday to Irini, it shows among BJ's thread].
Thanks -- for this and ALL you do!,
Holly

I am catching up today as I have the day off from school. I am ready to share my origins photo and poem but don't seem to have the right group to share it with. What group am I sharing this with and how do I add that group to the list that appears when I click on the "send to group" tab? Loved this process, by the way!

Heather,
My suggestion (although I'm not one of the moderators),
breathe. breathe again. breathe in, breathe out.

Enjoy the photos of others. Celebrate the photos you share. Join in as you can, when you can. From my prior experiences in many different EVO groups, some wonderful TESOLer or other educator/facilitator will always be here to help you --
Personally, I'd encourage you to surprise yourself and try the poetry exercise (following the guide, answering the questions -- using the template) so that you can surprise yourself with the result! But I will also share the confession that I've not always completed all tasks, so I suspect you could let that one task go and we'd all still welcome you just the same!
-- that's my "two cents"

Hi, I am way behind everyone as the past week has been our Chinese New Year vacation in China. I was in Doha, Qatar for a conference and vacation during that time and have just got back to Beijing. Is it too late to continue with the group? I only got Week One completed and then got hung up with Report Cards and vacation. I started Week Two but The poem for the first part of Week 2 got me stuck as poetry terrifies me and I never moved forward.

I am very interested in doing this but am feeling quite overwhelmed with all I havent' learned yet. Please help

Dear Holly,

Just click on the photo you want to add to our forum and get the URL there, not the .jpg. Add the brackets and it will work. If you need extra help, let me know.

Hello Help desk! I've been trying to catch up (a daunting task!).
I've uploaded a photo and "where I'm from" poem in Origins (Flickr), but for some reason (even though I thought I followed directions) my photo shows as a URL and not a photo?
How do I correct that? (I used URL in [ ] brackets as the "how to format" suggested.
???
suggestions?
thanks

Hi guys! I've already skyped (poor) Carla but this is something I MUST learn. Make good use of the right places for the right stuff. Well, I've created a ning page for my colleagues at CCBEU (ccbeufrancaeducators.ning.com) - take a look there (it'll be a plesure). Yesterday I simply eliminated this welcome message we get when we log in (Welcome to **** Here are some things you can do now...). How can I have it back??? Also - I went to MANAGE/FEATURES/TEXT BOX but I don't have the function +TEXT BOX on the main page to add new text. Please, hekp me!!! Thank you all.
